The Indianapolis Colts Club Network NFL FLAG Participation Grant offers financial assistance for Colts Club Network participants only. A parent or legal guardian of the participant must complete the application to be considered for this grant.
Application Acknowledgments:
- The participant's parent or legal guardian must be the one completing the application.
- Funding is only provided for participants of Indianapolis Colts Club Network programs and funds will not be provided for other flag football programs.
- The Indianapolis Colts Club Network NFL FLAG Participation Grant has limited funding and submitting an application does not guarantee receiving financial support.
- Incomplete applications will automatically be declined.
- Receiving funding for one season does not guarantee I will receive funding for future seasons.
- Financial assistance is only available for upcoming seasons and cannot be used to reimburse previous registrations.
- To be eligible for financial assistance, your annual household income must be less than the Indiana state median average of $70,051*, and the participant must be enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC. Proof of both will be required.
- All funds will be sent directly to your league operator and not to the parent/guardian.

The National Football League (NFL) is dedicated to growing women’s flag football around the world. In partnership with the RCX Sports Foundation, the NFL proudly presents the Women’s Flag Football International Scholarship Program—an annual opportunity that helps international female athletes continue their education while playing the game they love.
Eligibility and Requirements: To qualify for the Women’s Flag Football Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a foreign national from a country outside of the United States (U.S.) that has the legal authorization required to attend a college or university in the U.S.
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/legal guardian approval.
- Apply and be admitted to a U.S. college or university that offers a Women’s Varsity Flag Football program. International athletes already enrolled and rostered on a Women’s Flag Football team at a U.S. collegiate institution will also be considered.
- Submit an essay of 1,000 words or less describing the impact flag football has had on them and their motivation to play at the collegiate level.
- Show acceptable proof of high school graduation as defined by the district, state, province, or country.
- Submit SAT/ACT scores (if applicable) and a high school transcript (or equivalent).
- Submit a professional letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, coach, school administrator, or mentor.
Expectations to Remain Eligible:
- Scholarship recipients must maintain satisfactory academic, behavioral, attendance, and performance standards as determined by their respective college/university and to be overseen by the NFL*
- Scholarship recipients may be expected to participate in promotional activities or community events related to the program.
*The NFL reserves the right to disqualify a scholarship recipient at any time should they fail to meet the requirements of the program and would no longer be eligible to receive any future funding.
