Girls flag football is one of the fastest-growing opportunities in youth sports, creating new pathways for girls to lead, compete, and experience the benefits of athletics.

As momentum continues to grow, including the expansion of girls flag at the high school and collegiate levels, the RCX Sports Foundation is committed to helping communities build sustainable programs that welcome more girls into the game.

Through the Girls Flag Starter Kit Grant, the RCX Sports Foundation will distribute 1,000 flag football kits nationwide to schools, nonprofits, and youth organizations launching or expanding girls flag programs. This initiative is designed to remove barriers to entry by providing essential equipment and resources needed to start strong and grow with confidence.

We are prioritizing organizations that are ready to act quickly, serve new or underserved athletes, and align with the mission of expanding access to safe, inclusive youth sports opportunities. Selected organizations will join a growing national movement focused on building the future of girls flag football from local leagues to emerging collegiate pathways.

Before applying, please ensure your organization is prepared to launch or expand a girls flag program within the next 3–6 months.
